Thanks for the compliment, Mr. RD. Actually, i too know nuts about salmon flies. Still practicing.. The white feathers are from Amherst Pheasant neck feathers. These are natural color feathers. I'm not sure what to name the fly. I was sitting at home bored and suddenly this thing came to my mind and i tied it. (or I might have seen it somewhere but can't remember that too.) That's about it
I've also used yellow color 4 strand thread for the abdomen, Golden pheasant Crest for the tail, peacock herls for partitions...

The thing that i mentioned to you is called
guts...These are used in ring less salmon hooks ( Nowadays, used in almost all salmon flies regardless of having ring or not)

They are made of braided or silk threads...
